SagaEat ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of our food delivery platform.

1. Information We Collect

Email address — used to create and access your account.
Location data (GPS) — used to identify nearby restaurants and ensure accurate delivery to your address.
Payment information — processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.
Order history — to display your past orders and improve your experience.
Device notification token — to send you real-time updates about your order status.

2. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you and maintain your account.
To show you restaurants near your location.
To process and deliver your orders.
To send you push notifications about your order status (confirmed, in preparation, on the way, delivered).
To ensure the proper functioning and security of the application.

3. Third Parties We Work With

Google (Firebase) Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications to your device. Your notification token is shared with Google for this purpose.

Stripe Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not share personal data beyond what is required to complete your transaction. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.

MonCash Payments
MonCash is available as a payment method. We do not share your personal data with MonCash.

Google Maps Coming soon
We plan to integrate Google Maps for improved delivery mapping in a future update.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to any other third party.

4. Your Rights

Right of access — you can view the information linked to your account at any time.
Display name — for security reasons, your name cannot be changed after account creation. Please contact us if you need assistance.
Account deletion — you may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the app or at sagaeat.com/delete-account. Your data will be permanently erased from our servers within 30 days. During this 30-day window, you may log back in to recover your account.

5. Data Security

Your passwords are encrypted on our servers and are never stored in plain text. Your personal data is securely stored and is not transferred to or shared with any unauthorized third party. We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of SagaEat after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
